Thank you to all who attended our 2017 Stone Oak POA Annual Meeting of Members!
Please see our Board of Directors tab for updated information

(posted 2-6-17)  This week, road construction is expected to begin on Madison Oak (road that leads into NC Baptist Hospital) - this should have limited affect on Stone Oak Parkway traffic flow, however, a lane may have to be shut down periodically - this work should only last about two weeks - please be cautious when driving through the area, and conscious of signage, traffic cones, etc.

MAIL THEFT

(Updated 2-9-17)  Postal Inspector Rob Strande attended the February Neighborhood Representative Committee meeting 2/8/17.  You can read his letter regarding Stone Oak mail security by clicking here.  We also have a photo of the letter, and the same link, posted on our "Safety and Security" page.  Our SAPD SAFFE Officer Jerry Hernandez was also in attendance, and explained this crime is only increasing, and residents need to be aware it is not a matter of "if" it happens to you, but when.  He strongly suggests enrolling in a credit monitoring service, and checking your mail DAILY.  Due to minimal punishments available for offenders, Inspector Strande is working on trying to have Texas legislation passed that will entail longer jail terms and more detailed punishments.  He urges you to contact your legislators and vocalize your experiences, and desire for this issue to be addressed immediately with tougher laws.  Please see our "Safety and Security" page, and check back often as we will update it as more information becomes available.

(posted 1-26-17)  The Stone Oak POA office has been made aware of multiple mailbox break-ins.  These incidents seem to have recently increased over the past month.  Please note cluster mailboxes in residential neighborhoods are the property of the United States Postal Service.  Your HOA and POA are not permitted to repair, secure, or maintain them.  If you find your mail has been stolen, please contact the SAPD, and United States Postal Inspection Service to file a report (click on the following link:  https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov)  Also please see our Safety and Security page for more information.

We will post any updated information from the USPS or SAPD on our Safety and Security page.  Please also check to see if your neighborhood has a Neighborhood Representative on our Neighborhoods of Stone Oak tab - we will filter all information to the community through this active committee.  If you do not see a representative listed for your neighborhood, please consider volunteering.  Contact our office for more information at 210-490-9481.

Hi, I'm Cricket!

I do bounce around like a cricket! I love to go for walks in the park and I'm always happy around people. It's recommended you keep me out of reach of birds and cats because I do like to chase them! I also enjoy car rides, so I will make a great travel buddy. It's best that I meet my possible future sibling first because I can be picky with my dog friends. I do best around older and considerate kids.  Please meet me to get to know me better! I'd love to have the chance to win your heart over.

Cricket would love the chance to meet you and have a home she can call her own, so drop by the Animal Defense League located at 11300 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, 78217 or visit her pet profile on our website at www.adltexas.org.

The adoption fees include:
Spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, internal and external parasite treatment, heartworm prevention, 30 days of 24PetWatch Pet Insurance, a starter bag of Heritage Ranch by H-E-B pet food and more! Fees may be different during adoption specials. Call 210-655-1481 for details.
