What’s better than the first-ever dog film festival coming to San Antonio? How about a BYOD (Bring Your Own Dog) film festival, where dogs are up on the screen and also in the audience?!
In celebration of the remarkable love between dogs and their people, the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts welcomes well-behaved pups to join their human companions outside on the Plaza to share a Saturday evening of inspiring films about people and their four-legged friends.
The NY Dog Film Festival™ is perfect for dog lovers of all ages and offers two completely different programs of documentary, animated and live-action short films that illuminate human-canine love, Each screening is approximately 75 minutes long. The mission of the NY Dog Film Festival™ is to combine films that entertain and inspire while supporting local animal welfare organizations, which in San Antonio will be the Animal Defense League.
The Animal Defense League will receive a portion of every ticket.
