A Director on the Board must be an individual or entity that is a member of the Stone Oak Property Owners Association (SOPOA), therefore a Stone Oak property owner. Directors are volunteers, are not compensated for their time, and act in accordance with the Governing Documents of the Association.  Many also serve on various Committees, and attend city-wide meetings as a representative of Stone Oak.  Their dedication and time spent each month serving the Stone Oak community is truly appreciated, and a benefit to all Stone Oak residents and businesses.
 
Stone Oak Board Meetings are held at 3:30PM the third Wednesday of each month (unless holidays dictate otherwise) in the POA office at 19230 Stone Oak Pkwy, Suite 315.  
 
In accordance with the Stone Oak POA Policy for Open Board Meetings, if a Stone Oak property owner plans on attending the meeting to discuss a particular matter, a written advance notification must be received a minimum of 48 hours in advance. An email may be sent to mbitter@stoneoakpoa.com

Aesthetics Committee ~ John Kiser, Chair
    Meets at 10 am each Monday at the Stone Oak POA office or via Zoom

• Discusses and makes appeals to the Board of Directors, when necessary, regarding the the beautification of POA controlled areas, i.e. medians and common areas
• Track POA controlled irrigation meters for median watering
• Track POA landscape maintenance and schedules
• Work with POA contractor and arborist to ensure the vitality of trees, bushes, flowers, etc. in POA controlled area
• Other duties related to ensuring the common areas of Stone Oak POA are protected and care for

 
Architectural Review Committee (ARC) ~ Kristina Hock, Chair 
    Meets at 9 am on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday via Zoom 

• Primarily reviews submittals regarding commercial properties within Stone Oak POA boundaries
• Ensures proposed exterior appearance for all submissions to the Stone Oak POA - including new and remodel construction materials, colors, signage, location - align with restrictions and policies set forth in SOPOA's documents

Finance Committee ~ Greg Barnes, Chair
    Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2:30 pm at the Stone Oak POA office or via Zoom  

• Reviews POA budget and assets 

 
Neighborhood Representative Committee (NRC) ~ Viki Melton, Chair 
    Meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7 pm at the Club at Sonterra. 

• Participate in monthly meetings
• Represents your HOA group at the NRC meetings
• Share any information provided at the NRC meeting, or through the NRC Chair, to your HOA community

Call for Candidates (posted 1/30/26)
 
Per the governing documents of the Stone Oak Property Owners Association, there will be an Annual Meeting of the membership on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 7:00PM.  This meeting will be held at the Club at Sonterra, 901 E. Sonterra Blvd.  

At the meeting, three Stone Oak commercial property owners and three Stone Oak residential property owners will be elected to the Board, each to serve for a two-year term.

The completed form must be received in our office no later than 5:00PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.  
Once received, a member of the Nominating Committee will reach out to you.  
 
Information regarding the 2026 Stone Oak POA Annual Meeting of Members, including the names of all candidates, will be mailed to all Stone Oak Property Owners in late February.
