There will be a SAPD Citizens On Patrol (COP) class on Saturday, January 12th, from 9am until 1pm.

 

It will be held at the SAPD North substation located at 13030 Jones-Maltsberger.

 

There is no need to RSVP and all forms will be filled out at the beginning of the class.

 

This program is for anyone interested in being part of the solution in reducing or preventing crime in your neighborhood. The program teaches what to report and who the suspicious activity should be reported to, ultimately becoming an extra set of eyes and ears for police officers responding to calls for service in your area. This is not a class advocating confrontation, but rather observation and reporting. After completing the class, each attendee is offered the opportunity to ride with an SAPD officer while on patrol.
