Dance Through Wonderland – The Diamond Dancers and Silver Stars will be hosting their annual Dance clinic on Saturday, October 8 from 7am-11am at Reagan High School.   Participates in Kinder thru 9th grades are invited to learn a age level dance and can perform at the Varsity football game half-time show that evening 7pm at Comalander Stadium.  $40 fee covers T-shirt, Ribbon, Spirit Stick, pizza, water, and photo with RHS Dancers with optional tutu available for $15.  Register online at:  RonaldReaganDance.com

Ready to CHEER! – RHS Cheer Clinic

 

Reagan Cheerleaders will be conducting their annual Cheer clinic Saturday, October 29th from 8:15am-12pm at Reagan High School with show-offs at 11:30am.  Open to Kinder thru 9th graders with option to cheer on the sidelines at the Varsity Football game that evening at 7pm.  Cost is $50 and includes shirt, bow, pizza, water, picture with RHS Cheerleaders and admission for participant and one adult to the Varsity game at Heroes Stadium.  Register before October 14 by going to:   http://tinyurl.com/rrcheerclinic

Perrin-410 hosts the 2016 Barktoberfest at the Animal Defense League of Texas.

6th annual dog and family friendly event with FREE admission! This FREE event is sure to be a HOWLing good time! There will be a multi category dog costume contest, games for kids and pets, vendors for pets and their humans, beer garden, delicious food trucks to scare away your hunger, and MUCH MORE! All proceeds from Barktoberfest will be donated to the Animal Defense League of Texas to help animals in need.  Bring your blanket and lawn chairs for relaxing in the dog park. Be sure to bring proof of current rabies tag for all dogs attending. Don’t forget to tell your friends and family about this once a year opportunity benefiting a great cause!

The next District 9 Neighborhood Alliance meeting will be held at 7:00PM, Wednesday, October 26th. We will meet at the Stone Oak Methodist Hospital, (Classrooms #1&2), 1139 E. Sonterra Blvd. (just off Hwy 281 in Stone Oak). This month I have invited Bexar County Sheriff Susan Pamerleau to provide us with an update on issues and events happening in the Sheriff’s Office plus any other topics she would like to discuss that she feels would be of interest to the Alliance. It has been a while since she has addressed us.  As always, our Councilman has been invited. 

 

 

 

 

If you are coming north on Hwy 281, go under Loop 1604 and immediately take the Sonterra Blvd. exit to the right; cross over to the right and follow the signs to Sonterra Blvd.; at the top of the hill take a right on to Sonterra Blvd., proceed through the first traffic light, at the next traffic light you will see the hospital on your right.

If you are coming around Loop 1604, take the Stone Oak Parkway exit, go north on Stone Oak Parkway and turn right on Sonterra Blvd.; proceed east on Sonterra through the traffic light at Hardy Oak and you will see the hospital on your left.

Park as close to the main entrance as possible, go through the Benson Pavilion entrance and the classrooms are to your left. We will be in Classrooms #1&2.

Support ADL by joining the Hocus Pocus 5K run at the Valero Energy Corp HQ. This event includes a costume contest with prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners. Registration comes with a custom tee and everyone who attends the packet pickup will receive a custom Trick-or-Treat bag. Halloween fun for you, the family, and all! This race benefits the Animal Defense League of Texas. Want to walk/run with your dog? They are welcome and encouraged to join this event!
