Stone Oak POA Neighborhood Representative Meeting
Wednesday, August 14th, 2019, 7pm at Club at Sonterra
The Neighborhood Representative Committee (NRC) meetings are one hour in length, and take place the second Wednesday of each month at 7PM at the Club at Sonterra.  (Meetings are not held in December or January)
 
Each meeting starts with a presentation of interest.  Past presentations have included SAWS, SAPD, CPS, TXDOT, The City of San Antonio Transportation and Capital Improvements Department, Parks & Wildlife, etc.  
 
Many of these organizations have come to rely on this group to spread important notices throughout our Stone Oak community (such as the recent mail thefts, water main breaks, or street improvements.)  Please check our "Neighborhoods of Stone Oak" page to see if a representative is listed for your neighborhood.  If not, please consider volunteering.  Call the office at 210-490-9481 for more info.

CA DAY 2019
You are invited to join us for the 2019 Community Association Day on Friday August 23, 2019.
 
The San Antonio Chapter of Community Associations Institute is excited to present another CA Day Expo, a day of education, information and networking for all who attend! It will be held at the Norris Convention Center/North Park, 618 NW Loop 410 on Friday, August 23rd.
 
The program will start at 8:0AM with check-in and a continental breakfast and continue until 3:00PM and will include a free lunch. The day will feature presentations of interest to homeowners, neighborhood and homeowner associations as well as their management companies starting at 9:00AM and continuing until noon. In the afternoon there will be an exhibitors’ hall for vendors who provide services to homeowners and HOA/POAs; this is a great opportunity to learn more about the many area companies who serve homeowners and community associations. You will have opportunities to meet folks that can help you and your neighborhood. Discover solutions in banking, landscaping, accounting, management, collections and more.
 
Attendance is free for all homeowners, but registration is required.
 
 
D9NA Meeting
Wednesday, August 28th, 2019, 7pm at 1139 E Sonterra Blvd, Stone Oak Methodist, classrooms 1 & 2
The August District 9 Neighborhood Alliance meeting will be held at 7:00PM, Wednesday, August 28th.
 
We will meet at the Stone Oak Methodist Hospital, (Classrooms #1&2), 1139 E. Sonterra Blvd. (just off Hwy 281 in Stone Oak).
 
Our presenter will be State Representative Steve Allison. He represents House District 121, succeeding former Speaker of the House Joe Straus. District 121 covers parts of north central and northeast San Antonio, as well as the cities of Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, and Olmos Park. Steve serves on the Public Education and Public Health committees and is a member of the House Republican Caucus Policy Committee. I have asked him to give us his impressions of the last session of the state legislature.
